Camden is One Month Old

At just a few weeks old, Camden got some newborn pictures taken by our friends Eddie & Kristine! Or, well, we tried! Of all the days, our newborn baby girl did not want to sleep. Which makes it a little difficult to get the really good pictures. We tried it all. Of course right when they left, she slept for hours. Oh man, starting early. Always has to be the center of attention and can't miss a thing. We did get some good pictures though! On April 13th, grandma and grandpa watched Camden. First time mommy has left her! Tommy and I went golfing. I was a little rusty, and of course my mind was always somewhere else the whole time. But it was nice to get out and do something just Tommy and I after the past few weeks. And the fresh air and exercise was great! The following weekend was Easter! Camden's first holiday. The weeks prior I debated with whether or not I wanted to take Camden to get her picture with the Easter bunny. But, the Easter bunny kind of freaks me out, so I was okay with not taking her. I just picture this huge stinky, germy stuffed animal holding my almost month old daughter, and kinda of talked myself out of it, haha. Maybe next year? Her first Easter was spent with the family and Grandpa & Grandma's with her Great Aunt Linda & The Burkett's. We had a great dinner & watched her cousins, Ashton, Brittany & Caitlyn have an easter egg hunt! I can't wait for her to be able to do that! It was so cute & fun watching how excited they got when they found their egg and placed it in their basket! April 24th, 2014- Camden is One Month Old! Even during my pregnancy, with keep track of my bump every other week, I knew I wanted to do a monthly growth picture with Camden. I searched Pinterest for ideas, but decided to to stick with my chalkboard I had been using! And, to make it a little interesting, my goal is to have matching outfits of a sort each picture with a few little facts and milestones for that month! Lets see how long I can keep up the matching outfits! Until month two..
